Sir Reginald C. Whitmore, Queen's Counsel (QC), he is one of the most respected names in British law, with over 40 years of experience in the fields of Commercial Law, International Litigation, and Asset Recovery. He graduated in Law from the University of Cambridge, where he achieved distinction in Private International Law, and began his career as a barrister in the 1980s, later being honored with the title of Sir for his contributions to Justice and the integrity of the British legal system. With a career marked by involvement in highly complex cases involving offshore jurisdictions, corporate fraud, and transnational disputes, he founded Proton Recovery with the mission of providing a specialized, efficient, and global legal service in the recovery of misappropriated assets and capital. Under his leadership, the company has established a network of associated offices in strategic financial centers—including the Pacific Islands—positioning itself as a reference in the sector. Sir Whitmore is recognized for his ethical stance, technical rigor and the ability to articulate in different legal systems, currently acting as a senior consultant and institutional reference for the company.

Of luso-British origin, he built his professional career based on academic excellence and legal rigor, graduating in Law from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and completing a postgraduate degree in International Law and Transnational Litigation at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom).With extensive experience in International Law, asset recovery, and commercial litigation in multiple jurisdictions, William has dedicated years to conducting strategic actions involving offshore structures and high-complexity disputes.Recognized for his technical precision, professional ethics, and strategic approach, he leads the legal sector of Proton Recovery with an absolute focus on protecting clients' interests, acting with discretion, firmness, and deep knowledge of European and British legal systems.
